Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Anchord ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of service
Anchord provides identity resolution as a service. The Service ingests records from your systems, resolves them to canonical identities, and provides evaluation endpoints for write decisions. The Service is read-only — it does not write to your external systems. Guard/write endpoints return a decision; the caller executes any actual write.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. API keys should be treated as sensitive credentials and rotated regularly.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws. You will not attempt to access other tenants' data, reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to process data you do not have the right to process. Automated abuse (excessive signups, key farming, API flooding) may result in account suspension.
5. Data ownership
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. Anchord processes your data solely to provide the Service and does not claim any rights to your data beyond what is necessary to operate. You may delete your data at any time by disconnecting integrations, purging source records, or requesting account deletion.
6. Service availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" during the current phase. SLA commitments are available on Enterprise plans.
7. Plan limits & fair use
Each plan has usage limits for API calls, ingested records, and other dimensions. Usage beyond your plan's limits may be throttled or blocked depending on your plan's overage behavior. Details are visible in your Settings page.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anchord shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the application. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
