Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
When you sign up for Anchord, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password. When you use the service, we process records you submit through the API, which may contain business contact information such as names, email addresses, domains, and external system identifiers.
We also collect standard web access logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security monitoring and abuse prevention.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide the identity resolution service, authenticate your API requests, maintain your account, and communicate with you about the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Data processing
Records submitted through the API are processed to resolve identities and detect duplicates. Data is scoped to your tenant and is never shared with other tenants or third parties except as needed to provide integrations you explicitly connect (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe). Integration connections are initiated by you and can be disconnected at any time.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored in AWS-hosted infrastructure (US regions). All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256 via RDS) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Integration secrets are stored in AWS Secrets Manager, separate from the application database. See our Security page for details.
5. Data retention
Your data is retained for the duration of your account. You can disconnect integrations and purge associated source records at any time from the console. Upon account deletion, all tenant data including source records, entities, API keys, and integration credentials are permanently deleted.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days. If you are subject to GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations, we will honor applicable data subject rights.
7. Cookies
The Anchord marketing site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The application uses session cookies for authentication purposes only.
8. Jurisdiction
Anchord is operated from the United States. By using the service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in the United States. We are evaluating additional compliance certifications and will update this policy as our posture matures.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the application. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
